: expert feeding support

Feeding isn’t one size fits all!

Breastfeeding is pretty hard for most… I have a whole job because it can be! Hard doesn’t always mean it’s going poorly, and a skilled lactation consultant can help you sort through the difference.

Whatever your challenge may be, we want to help make early parent life a bit easier, feeds a little less stressful, and everyone a little happier by sharing the wisdom and clinical support that has been passed down to us.

With a holistic approach to feeding support, we will help you define, reach and enjoy your feeding goals!

We understand that you may have already seen multiple lactation and feeding supports, and understand how frustrating it can be to continue to have symptoms and challenges. Our approach is usually a bit different, and our clients say is worth a try! We would be thrilled to see if we can offer you another way to solve your infant feeding challenges.

Looking for OHIP-subsidized breastfeeding, chestfeeding & breastmilk feeding support??

The Ontario Breastfeeding Clinic serves families in Ontario, offering OHIP-subsidized virtual and office visits. Families pay approximately $77 per visit.

Please use the buttons below to access these services, and direct your OHIP-subsidized booking questions to the OBC’s wonderful admin team. The OBC requires a referral from your midwife or baby’s doctor which you can call their office to make an appointment to obtain.

PRO TIP: Wait times for OHIP-subsidized care may be longer than the wait for private pay visits. OBC’s OHIP-subsidized visits are booked Monday to Friday, 9-4. Many families start with a private visit booked directly with Ashley, and move to the OBC when ready (including same day care, or care over holidays and long weekends). Please be sure to book all private pay visits directly with Ashley by sending a message via the contact us tab; this will save you $, and give you access to evening and weekend appointments until your OBC visit is arranged.
