*Lactation consultants are not directly covered by OHIP. Some of us work for organizations that receive funding for lactation care, or can partially bill OHIP.
*With a referral into the Ontario Breastfeeding Clinic, you can request to see me alongside a pediatrician, with some OHIP-subsidy
Appointments are 50 minutes; they can be virtual or in office (Mississauga West/Oakville M/W/Th/F or Tuesdays in Milton)
All subsidized OBC visits are attended virtually or in person by a pediatrician.
There are no limits to how many visits you can book, however, each visit will have a co-pay (currently $90) and OHIP covers the balance.
Private office visits with Ashley are $125; OBC will save you $35/visit!
**PLEASE be sure to choose Ashley Pickett when booking your appointment at https://ontariobreastfeedingclinic.janeapp.com/ and choose the SUBSIDIZED option (this is the OHIP pathway) to book with me. If you would like to book home visits, please be sure to contact me directly and book with me in my private practice to pay a lower fee.
