Breastfeeding Basics for Prenatal Families ($50 group/$150 private)
Whether this is your first baby or the newest addition, I encourage you to take this breastfeeding class in your third trimester to help you achieve your own breastfeeding goals. Ashley Pickett, IBCLC will guide you through a 2-hour class, where you can expect to learn how to get breastfeeding off to a good start in hospital and at home, guiding your baby to latch and drink effectively, the benefits of skin to skin contact, managing breast milk supply and flow, reading your baby’s feeding cues, how to know if your baby is getting enough milk, how to help you and your baby get more sleep, how to know when breastfeeding is going well and what to do if it is not.

Introduction to Solid Foods ($50/$150)
When looking into introducing new foods to your baby, the information available can be very confusing!  Learn all that you need to know to know about adding complimentary foods to your baby’s milk diet. Topics covered include how to tell when your baby is ready, what the best first food are, textures, timing, and amounts to serve, Baby Led Weaning or pureed foods, preventing fussy eaters and recognizing sensitivities, and how to create a positive eating experience and a healthy relationship with food.

Transitioning Back To Work ($50/$150)
It’s just around the corner… time to go back to work! You know your babies routine, what they like and how to get them to sleep. How is someone else going to manage all of this? What should you do to prepare for this transition? How much milk should they drink while in someone else’s care? Do I have to wean from Breastfeeding? How can I make the separation easier for my baby (and me!)? Join me for this workshop, to make this next step as anxiety-free as possible for you and your baby.

Babywearing for Beginners ($50/$150)
Your baby is here, and LOVES to be held, cuddles and to sleep on your chest! For a new parent, this can feel overwhelming, even though it is normal and even good for our babies. Let me show you how to safely wear your baby in a carrier, so you can meet his intense attachment needs while stealing a hands free break yourself! Letting your baby feel safe on your body, similar to where he lived for his first 9+ months, is OK and will not spoil him! But needing it to be easy and sustainable for you is OK too. Try on wraps, slings, mei tei’s and structured carriers, and discover what the best fit is for you! Or bring along the carrier you already have and learn the safest most comfortable ways to use it.

Understanding Normal Infant Sleep ($50/$150)
Has everything you have been told and read from Dr. Google left you worried that your baby isn’t sleeping “properly”? Advice from well-meaning friends and family can leave you unsure about your babies sleep habits, and worried that something is wrong. Understanding why your baby sleeps the way they do is a challenge for any parent… and once you feel like you’ve “got it”, it changes anyway!! Join this seminar to discover what is normal, what changes to expect and what to do if you are ready for simple change. We can lead our children into anxiety-free sleep, while still meeting our own needs for rest. This workshop will explore what is considered biologically normal sleep for your baby and help you understand more about sleep expectations at different stages of your baby’s development.
